Operation:

The venting valve LCV is normally closed. It opens when pressure is apllied to inlet E. Inlet E is connected with the suction control valve downstream from the non-return valve. The non-return valve closes at shut-down of the compressor and the suction duct downstream from the non-return valve is pressurized by air-oil mixture. This pressure opens the LCV. It remains open until the compressor is vented to approximate 0.3 bar (g)
