1.The oil level is too high

Also some lubricating oil will be taken out with the air current. And the oleaginousness of the comressed air from the vent will be on the high side. Then the oil Consumption increases.

2.The minimum pressure valve has a failure

The minimum pressure valve’s start value of various manufacturers’ air compressor is rated. For example, there is a leaking point in the glass seal of the minimum pressure valve , you open in advance or you can not shut completely. These will make that the oil separator’s initial setting pressure time increases. The concentration of the gas oil mist in the state of low pressure is high. The flow velocity of passing the oil is quick 、 the oil load aggravates and the isolation effect decreases. These lead to the increase of oil consumption.

3.The oil separator has a failure

After the compressed air discharged by the air end enters into the oil separator, it will pass two twice seperation of oil baffle plate and the separator element. Then the oil and gas can be seperated completely.

4.The oil stop valve has a failure

If the oil stop valve can not shut normally or timely after the air compressor stops, it will result in that the lubricating oil in the oil-gas separator regorges to the mainframe 、then re-sprays out from the the suction strainer, and causes the leakage of the lubricating oil.
