When the air compressor doesn’t use, the screw in the head cannot be soaked in the cooling oil. To meet this requirement, the oil stop valve is put in the cooling system.

The principle of the oil stop valve: 

When the air compressor works,the compressed air produced will make the oil stop valve open, and the cooling oil can cool the screw head circularly in the system. When the air compressor doesn’t work, the tension of the spring keeps the paraffin close, and the cooling oil in the oil-gas separator cannot return to the screw. During the work,the impurity in the air will inevitably be mixed into the cooling oil and this may cause the sediment jam when the oil passes the oil stop valve,which will result in the valve cannot open with with the compressor’s start. Then the valve is in the closed or half-closed state. Therefore, the cooling effect of the screw head will be influenced seriously.

The routine maintenanceof the oil stop valve：

We need clean the oil stop valve regularly. Mentioned previously,the mix of the impurity in the air into the oil will have an impact on the thermostatic valve and oil filter. Therefore, in order that the oil stop valve can work normally,we need solve the problem from the root:1.change the air filter according to the differential pressure parameter strictly and make the impurity entered into the screw reduce to the minimum. 2. Improve the equipment environment as well as possible.
