1.The composition of the thermostatic valve: It’s made of the valve body,the paraffin,the temperature-sensing element and the spring.

2.The disassembly of the thermostatic valve:  There is a screw hole on the lid which is on the the thermostatic valve. Find a suitable nut and screw it in the cover. Then use circlip plier to take out jump spring which is attached on the lid. After that, use circlip plier to pull the nut screwed in just now. At last you can take the lid and the whole elements in it.

3.Clean the the thermostatic valve: You should choose soap-suds、diesel oil 、clean gasoline、nitrocellulose lacquer thinner and so on as the cleaning agent. Certainly,you should choose the cleaning agent mentioned above according to the degree of dirt. The soap-suds or the diesel oil is usually recommended to do the cleaning. If the  thermostatic valve is terribly dirty, change a new kind of the cleaning agent.

4.The assembly of the thermostatic valve: Install it according to the  contrary step of disassembly .

5.When the cleaning is finished ,put the thermostatic valve aside and wait for putting into the air compressor.
