Founded in 1760, LR is the world's first ship classification and inspection institution and one of the oldest enterprises in Britain. Over the course of more than 250 years of development, LR has emerged as a globally recognized authority providing independent third-party inspection, supervision and certification, and the phrase "A1 at Lloyd's", which can be found in the dictionary, has become a symbol of quality.

In 2014, the company obtained the ISO9001 certification, and in 2018, it successfully passed the Lloyd's Register Quality ISO9001, making the company's quality system step up to a new height.
